Nagatanien created its own Nagatanien Ajihitosuji Food Safety Assurance System (NAFSAS) in 2009.
Based on the ISO9001 international quality management standard, NAFSAS also incorporated elements of the FSSC22000 food security management standard to aid the effective creation and operation of a unified product safety, product retrieval, and traceability system.
NAFSAS focuses on four main areas: quality assurance and customer satisfaction, food safety, crisis management, and Ajihitosuji (exploring the taste).
The Nagatanien Group will continue to use NAFSAS as its guide for groupwide efforts to ensure food safety and security.
